Welcome to RC
... have no idea ...

.

Hello there and welcome to THE RUBBER CHICKEN. Before we go any further, I'm just curious...what made you click on the rubber chicken? I mean, chances are you stopped by Phad because you're interested in web design (not rubber chickens) so what possessed you to click on the most unrelated thing on the page?  Most people would say plain curiosity. What they are really saying is marketing... pure and simple.

Statistics show that most people (ie, "customers") will wait on average for about 20 seconds before they move on to another site. 20 seconds! If in that short period of time the site doesn't make them curious or interested enough to click on something, the site is a waste...no matter how well it's designed...and chances are, that potential customer will never come back.

A well designed web site should be able to carefully balance design and marketing, effects and subtleties, compatibility and performance. Without these careful balances, "good" sites will fail and business will be lost.

THE RUBBER CHICKEN was designed with the ultimate goal of informing you, the reader, about what you should look for when searching for a web design firm. It is not (and will never be) an advertisement for Phad...it is simply an understatement to say that all Phad pages meet these criteria so I don't think I need to continually remind you of that.

Instead, take a few seconds to look through "The Chicken" with me...see what makes a site work and what makes it fail...see the potential that a web site can have...lets take a walk together into
